| Initial impressions are enduring. Students from The University of Maine fondly recall "The Maine Hello" on Fall Welcome Weekend, or that first walk across the Mall, with Fogler Library and the Stevens Hall cupola in view.

| We are pleased to offer another lasting reminder of The University of Maine experience: the Official Ring. Our ring evokes special memories of the traditions and images of UMaine: national championship hockey, “oozeball” on Maine Day, Bananas the Bear, our beautiful red brick, and commencement. The ring is a symbolic, continuous link with fellow classmates and alumni.

| Our ring is reserved exclusively for students who have achieved junior year standing. Sponsored by The University of Maine Alumni Association in cooperation with the University Bookstore, the ring will remain unchanged

a tangible connection to past, present, and future.

| Those able to wear the ring proudly reflect The University of Maine traditions of leadership and service. For Black Bears fans, it holds a world of meaning.
