| | | As you near the completion of your Rice degree, we are pleased to offer a tangible emblem of the Rice University experience: the official Rice ring. The Rice ring evokes special memories of the traditions and images of Rice: the Sallyport, Willy’s Statue, the Honor Code, the College System—perhaps even Beer Bike. It also signals your affiliation with the vibrant network of alumni that constitute the Rice community worldwide.
| Our ring is reserved exclusively for undergraduate students in good standing who have earned at least 90 credit hours, second-year Jones Graduate School students in good standing, and other graduate students in good standing who have completed all requirements for their degree programs. Sponsored by the Association of Rice Alumni, the ring will remain unchanged: a lasting connection not only to your fellow classmates, but to the alumni who have gone before and those who will come after you.
| The official Rice ring is a symbol of the greater Rice University community of learning, endeavor, and achievement of which you are a member—lifelong.
