Dear Students, Parents and Alumni,
From that first turn onto Boatwright Drive and arriving at what has been called "the most beautiful campus in the nation," to walking around Westhampton Lake, to taking some time out with friends at the Modlin Center for the Arts
—
each UR student has his/her own unique memories along the road that will lead to the day of graduation.
Education is an honor. Graduates of the University of Richmond leave the campus symbolizing our best for an honorable future. All graduates also embody the University of Richmond mission of graduating men and women who strive for excellence.
As a constant reminder of graduates' achievements and the tradition of our alma mater we, as alumni, are proud to be able to offer the opportunity to order the Official Class Ring of the University of Richmond.
Our ring instantly evokes special memories of the occasions and traditions of the University
—
Proclamation Night, Investiture, "Play Fair", the Senior Dinner and Dance and, of course, that final "turning of the tassel" in the Robins Center. The ring is a symbolic, continuous link with Spiders classmates, friends and generations of alumni.
Our ring is reserved exclusively for students with 54 credit hours or more and graduates. It was designed by a group of University students, alumni and administrators. As a symbol of University tradition it is instantly recognizable
—
a tangible connection for those who are graduating, while the visual continuity will generate an exclusive link with graduates in years to come.
Those able to wear the ring proudly state to others, "I am a person who strives for excellence
—
a person of integrity and discipline
—
a graduate of the University of Richmond." For the graduate and their peers it holds a whole world of meaning.
