| | | Our alma mater's excellence is best exemplified through the success of our graduates. From Jim Belushi, lead actor on the "According to Jim" television series, to Constance Holmes, Director of National Network Development for Coca-Cola Bottling Company, to Curt Jones, creator of Dippin' Dots Ice Cream, Southern enjoys a tradition of alumni achievement. And we
—
as Salukis
—
embody this commitment to academic prowess and professional accomplishment.
|
| For all of us, our journey to graduation encompasses very special, lifelong memories. To commemorate your achievement and Southern Pride, your SIU Alumni Association is pleased to offer you the opportunity to wear the Official Class Ring of Southern Illinois University.
|
| Through the years, your SIU Class Ring will symbolize any number of things to you
—
lifelong relationships you develop as an undergraduate at Southern, a walk around Campus Lake on a beautiful fall day, or singing along with the Marching Band's performance of "Go Southern Go" at Saluki basketball and football games.
|
| Only alumni and students who have attained at least junior status (56 credit hours) are eligible to purchase the SIU Class Ring. This unique, one of a kind ring was designed by current SIU students and alumni. Its design will never change; allowing it to serve as a common bond between past, current, and future students and alumni of all ages and backgrounds.
|
| Those of you who have contributed to Southern's tradition of success can be deservedly proud and exhibit your pride to the world. I invite you to be a part of this important SIU tradition by wearing the SIU Class Ring.
